Our dedication to eco-friendly practices is reflected in several key initiatives that help us reduce our carbon footprint and create a more sustainable future, including:

 Innovative Architecture: The natural topography of the land inspired the design of an underground building that blends seamlessly with the existing landscape. This construction provides natural insulation, reducing the need for artificial heating and cooling.

Green Roof: Our building features a green roof that offers excellent insulation, reduces energy consumption, and contributes to the local flora.

Minimized Environmental Disturbance: The integration of the building into the landscape minimizes environmental disruption, preserving the natural beauty of the area.

Efficient Access & Ventilation: Our staircase and elevator at the rear of the building ensure easy access to each suite while providing optimal natural ventilation.

Sustainable Interior Materials: The majority of materials used in the suites are natural and eco-friendly. The entrance doors and wooden surfaces are made from recycled teak wood, while the sinks are crafted from stone, and the bathtubs are made from stone resin. The teak beds are sunken into private pools, and the chestnut pergola runs along the entire facade.

Solar Energy: The suites are powered by solar energy, with advanced solar panels covering 30% of our energy needs.

Biological Wastewater Treatment: We have implemented a biological wastewater treatment system that ensures environmental cleanliness. The treated water is used to irrigate the plants at the entrance of the suites, further supporting our green policies.

Water Conservation: To minimize water waste, we’ve introduced a new sheet and towel policy and encourage our guests to participate by reusing towels and linens during their stay.

 Energy-Efficient Systems: Our lighting system is entirely LED, while the heat pump and fan coil systems optimize energy efficiency and significantly reduce energy consumption.

Almost Zero Use of Plastic: We have significantly reduced plastic usage across our suites, opting for eco-friendly alternatives to minimize our environmental impact.

Natural and Toxic-Free Cleaning Products & Amenities: We use only natural, non-toxic cleaning products and offer organic, eco-friendly amenities to ensure a healthier stay for both our guests and the planet.

Recycling Efforts: Amethyst Selene is dedicated to responsible waste management, implementing extensive recycling practices to reduce waste and promote sustainability in every aspect of our operations.

Organic Farm: We cultivate a wide variety of vegetables and aromatic herbs on our 40,000-square-meter farm. Using natural farming methods and our own well, we respect the land and its resources, producing fresh and healthy ingredients for our guests.

Tree Preservation: During the initial construction phase, olive trees present on the land were carefully relocated to specially designed spaces, where they were replanted, restoring the natural beauty of the environment.

Farm-to-Table Experience: The breakfasts served to our guests are made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients, mostly from our own farm or neighboring local producers. This farm-to-table approach enriches the guest experience while minimizing our environmental footprint.

Cultural Heritage Support: We believe in supporting local culture and heritage. We offer our guests a curated package featuring cultural and religious landmarks, not only in our region but also in the surrounding areas.
