Innovative Design: Inspired by the natural contours of the land, the architecture of our underground building harmoniously integrates with its environment. This design helps to naturally regulate temperatures, reducing the need for external heating and cooling systems.

Green Roof: Our building features an eco-friendly green roof that enhances insulation, cuts down on energy usage, and supports local plant life.

Minimal Environmental Impact: The building’s thoughtful integration into the landscape preserves the area’s natural beauty, minimizing any disturbance to the environment.

Optimized Access & Ventilation: With a rear staircase and elevator, easy access to each suite is ensured, while also promoting excellent natural airflow throughout the building.

Sustainable Interior Materials: The suites are furnished using eco-conscious materials. Recycled teak wood is used for entrance doors and wooden surfaces, stone-crafted sinks, and stone resin bathtubs. Teak beds are submerged in private pools, and a chestnut pergola spans the entire building’s façade.

Solar Energy: The suites are powered by solar panels, meeting 30% of our energy needs and helping to reduce our reliance on traditional energy sources.

Biological Wastewater Management: We’ve implemented a biological wastewater treatment system that ensures water is cleaned and repurposed to irrigate plants at the entrance, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.

Water Conservation: To limit water waste, we’ve introduced a towel and sheet reuse policy, encouraging guests to participate in water-saving efforts during their stay.

Energy-Efficient Systems: Our lighting is fully LED, and the heat pump and fan coil systems maximize energy efficiency, reducing overall consumption.

Minimal Plastic Use: We’ve drastically reduced plastic across our suites and opted for sustainable alternatives to lower our environmental impact.

Natural & Non-Toxic Cleaning Products: Only natural, non-toxic cleaning agents are used, and we offer organic, eco-friendly amenities to ensure a healthy environment for our guests and the planet.

Comprehensive Recycling Practices: Amethyst Selene is committed to responsible waste management and has implemented a recycling system to minimize waste and enhance sustainability in every area of operation.

Organic Farm: We grow a wide array of vegetables and herbs on our 40,000-square-meter farm, using natural farming methods and our own well to nourish the land. These fresh, healthy ingredients are then used in meals for our guests in the suites and at our restaurants.

Tree Preservation: During construction, olive trees present on the property were carefully moved to new locations, where they were replanted, preserving the landscape’s natural beauty.

Farm-to-Table Dining: We offer a farm-to-table experience with breakfasts prepared from fresh, locally sourced ingredients—many of which come from our own farm or nearby producers—ensuring a sustainable, flavorful experience for our guests.

Cultural Heritage Engagement: We’re committed to supporting local culture and heritage by offering guests a curated guide to cultural and religious landmarks in the region. This includes recommendations for must-see sights, local culinary delights, and activities that showcase the area’s rich history and traditions.
